Four years ago, Yasmin travelled to India from her home in Italy to finish her graduate thesis in the coastal city of Mumbai. There she met Shreyank, and in a love-at-first-sight, storybook moment their lives changed forever. Today the couple is overjoyed to be living in Toronto, in their first apartment together, but the road home was a long and often arduous one. Sometimes separated by entire continents and regularly separated by unending stretches of months, Yasmin and Shreyank found in one another a partner to weather any storm.
