Grab some pasta and create some Christmas magic with these Magical Macaroni decorations. If you don’t have elbow noodles, don’t worry! Pretty much every pasta shape will work for this project -- from penne to farfalle, and everything in between. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. Thumbprint Reindeer Ornaments
These Thumbprint Reindeer Ornaments are a great way for kids to put their fingerprints on some keepsake ornaments and really make their mark. Choose plain matte coloured ornament balls as the thumbprints will show up better on them than on the shiny ones. Your kids will love that they can do this project almost entirely by themselves. Dip a thumb in brown paint and make your mark -- this will serve as the reindeer face. Add eyes, nose and antlers with a permanent marker. Make sure to do at least one red-nosed reindeer! Cupcake Liner Christmas Trees
If you over estimated how many cupcakes you’d be baking this season, these Cupcake Liner Christmas Trees can put your materials to good use. Start by making a cone shape out of cardstock, then add ruffled cupcake liners to the cardstock cone base to make brances. You may need to use more than one liner to get all the way around. Candy Cane Christmas Trees
You and your kids will love making these Candy Cane Christmas Trees. All you need is some green felt, glue and various buttons and beads to use as ornaments. Cut a piece of felt to size (you’ll want the candy cane ‘trunk’ to show). Cut slits in the felt to insert the candy cane. Glue on buttons, beads and whatever other ornaments you like.
