This year at the Brampton Fall Fair

Share:

The start of the fall festival season begins with the Brampton Fall Fair. Today on the blog, Hazelview Properties gives you a breakdown of the festival, along with what you can expect and look forward to at this year’s event. Our Brampton communities are located in a vibrant and family-friendly neighbourhood in the heart of the city.

What is the Brampton Fall Fair?

The Brampton Fall Fair is located at the Brampton Fairground. The events take place in the Peel Junior Farmers Hall, the Show and Sale Pavilion and ten multi-purpose buildings and outdoor show rings within walking distance of the main venues. The show consists of a demolition derby, midway horse shows, dog shows, agricultural education area, craft and antique vendors, livestock shows and a classic car show. There are attractions for every age group and interest, from young kids to older adults.

This year’s Fall Fair will take place from September 11th until September 14th. There are both four-day admission and one-day admission passes. Any single day entry is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $2 for kids under the age of 12. Midway prices vary per day and are displayed on the Fair’s website. There is plenty of free parking on site, but Brampton Transit is also offering a free shuttle to the fairgrounds.

Events to look forward to:

The Fall Fair’s Arts & Crafts Show

The Homecraft Division of the Brampton Fall Fair consists of arts and crafts, photography, handicrafts, needlework, baking and kitchen craft, gardening and flowers, quilting, arrangements and antiques. Many of these categories have both junior and adult versions.

Carnival Games/Rides

Carnival games and rides at the 2015 Brampton Fall Fair will be provided by Campbell Amusements. While the full list of rides and games has not been released, you can check out their website for more information. Thursday at the Fair is Toonie Day, where each ride only costs a toonie from open to close.

Fair Eats

The Brampton Fall Fair has a wide selection of food vendors and carnival-inspired treats. You will find classic fair food such as burgers, corn-on-the-cob, sausages, popcorn, candy apples, ice cream, candy floss and more. You can also buy hot and cold beverages, although this is an alcohol-free event.

Demolition derby

The Demolition Derby is one of the Fall Fair’s most popular events. On the Saturday of the Fair you can witness the highly entertaining and thrilling derby at 7 p.m. The Demolition Derby features enhanced vehicles colliding with each other until just one is left still running. Kids will go crazy for this event!

Brampton Fair’s Got Talent

The big Sunday event at the Brampton Fall Fair is the Brampton Fair’s Got Talent show. This year the competition has both a junior and senior division, where people of all ages and backgrounds can put their talent on display, whether it’s singing, dancing, comedy, magic or something a little unusual.

The Brampton Fall Fair has events and activities for everyone. Don’t miss this exciting event that is only a ten-minute drive from Hazelview’s Brampton community at 25 Rambler Drive.
