Nothing says Easter like a classic egg hunt. Toronto’s historic Colborne Lodge location presents a family-friendly celebration of Eastern traditions along with their annual Easter egg hunt. Children can hunt for eggs in the Regency-style lodge’s restored rooms and even dye their own eggs using 19th-century methods. All Easter activities are included with general museum admission. North York Easter Egg Hunt
Join in on the North York Easter Egg Hunt this April 3-5 at Gym-O-Gym. There are a number of hunts happening throughout the weekend, including a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt for kids aged five and up. Admission to the event includes a slice of pizza, juice box, egg hunt, prizes and games for the little ones. Make sure to bring your own basket as eggs will be collected by kids and then traded in for chocolate and other prizes. The North York Easter Egg Hunt is a 45-minute transit ride from Hazelview’s 100 Parkway Forest Community.
Easter in the Kingsway
During the Easter long weekend come down to the bustling Kingsway district where there will be plenty of Easter fun for the whole family. Easter bunnies will be giving away free chocolates, treats and eggs. There will also be a bouncy castle, crafts, live music, clowns, magicians, face painters and more. Bring your own camera and make sure to have your picture taken with the giant Easter bunny. This activity is free for all!
Toronto Beaches Lions Club Easter Parade
The annual Lions Club Easter Parade is back for another year in the Beaches neighbourhood. The parade will be taking over Queen Street East on the afternoon of Easter Sunday, inviting all local residents and visitors to come and watch displays by local companies and charities. You can expect to see musicians, cheerleaders, decorative floats, Toronto public figures and even the Easter bunny himself. The parade lasts for two hours and begins at Munro Park and Queen Street and proceeds west on Queen in the direction of Woodbine Avenue.
