Share:

With March Break quickly approaching, Hazelview Properties has put together a few activities that the whole family can enjoy. Our 2850 and 2870 Cedarwood Drive Apartments are located within close proximity to transit, parks, schools, shopping, great restaurants and recreational facilities.

Skating in Brewer Park

Enjoy some good old-fashioned skating before the rinks begin closing at the end of March. Brewer Park is one of Ottawa’s largest and most popular parks, located less than a five-minute drive from 2850 Cedarwood Drive. Enjoy a large outdoor skating rink, two hockey rinks, numerous play structures and winding walking trails. Bundle up, grab your skates and thermos of hot chocolate and you are ready for an afternoon of classic Canadian fun.

Canadian Museum of Nature

The Canadian Museum of Nature features awe-inspiring exhibits that include everything from the ocean to dinosaurs. This is the perfect place to bring the kids over March Break as the Museum will also be featuring a variety of special events, activities and exhibits. Don’t miss special March Break exhibits that include Tiny Giants 3D, Arctic Floor Map and the Arctic Food Fair. The Canadian Museum of Nature is a ten-minute drive from Hazelview’s 2870 Cedarwood Drive Community.

Altitude Gym

For the little daredevils and adrenalin junkies in your family, Ottawa’s Altitude Gym is a great place to visit over March break. This interactive gym allows people of all ages to discover the amazing sport of climbing through workshops, sessions, outdoor and indoor games, arts and crafts, day camps and much more. The Altitude Gym is a 20-minute drive from Hazelview’s 2850 Cedarwood Drive Apartments.

Log Farm Sugarbush

March is the perfect time to enjoy some of Ottawa’s sugar shacks and to show your little ones how one of Canada’s national treasures, maple syrup, is made. Enjoy a delicious maple-inspired breakfast, a demonstration on how trees are tapped for sap, learning about the filtering and bottling process, a visit with barnyard animals and delicious maple snacks. The Log Farm Sugarbush is only a 20-minute drive from Hazelview’s Cedarwood Communities in Ottawa.
