Terra Beata
Nestled next to the Atlantic ocean, about an hour west of Halifax, you’ll find Terra Beata. This 15-acre cranberry farm features the one and only U-pick cranberry service in Nova Scotia! They’re open year round, but high season begins with Open Farm Day on September 15th. The season runs until early November. Visit the Bog Store for farm-made preserves.
La Ferme Quinn
Visit La Ferme Quinn, about an hour east of Montréal, for U-pick berries and sweet corn in the summer, and apple and pumpkin picking in the fall. Their Fall Festival runs every weekend from September 15th to October 8th. Your $8 admission gets you access to the orchard, tractor rides, pony rides, farm animals and live music. Their Farm Shop serves up homemade products and delicious fresh baked goods.
Chudleigh’s Farm
Visiting Chudleigh’s Farm has been a tradition for GTA families since they first opened in 1967. Along with apple picking from August until mid October, enjoy tractor rides, pony rides, a hay maze, nature trails and more! Visit the farm store for fresh-baked pies and other sweet treats.
Deer Meadow Farms
Visit Deer Meadow Farms, near Winnipeg, to pick pumpkins in the Pumpkin Patch, visit a Petting Farm, get lost in a corn maze, bump along on a wagon ride, and get spooked on a Haunted Hayride for Halloween. Shop the Farm Store for fresh free-range eggs, goat’s milk soap, decadent fudge and much more. It's open May 15th through November 3, 2018.
Black Fox Farm & Distillery
Black Fox Farm & Distillery in Saskatoon is a working flower farm and distillery. Samples of their spirits can be enjoyed (3 for $5). Don’t miss the annual Pumpkin Festival over the last 3 weeks of September. Expect Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Golf, an Obstacle Course and more!
The Jungle Farm
The Jungle Farm in Red Deer offers U-pick strawberries in the summer and pumpkin picking from the first week of September through October. The Fall Festival offers wagon rides, an 8-acre corn maze, and much more. The General Store in the barn boasts a bounty of baked goods, preserves, caramel apples and more!
