The rink at Atrium Le 1000 has been open since 1992 and is a popular destination for tourists, families, and students year round. Le 1000 Rink is a great place to host birthday parties, school trips, team-building workshops, and more. They also offer skating classes for both children and adults. Parc LaFontaine
For a skating experience located in one of Montreal’s most charming and romantic parks, check out the rink at Parc LaFontaine. Skate through beautiful long winding paths instead of the classic oval shaped ice rink. This unique rink is only a 15-minute drive away from Hazelview’s 4560 LaSalle Boulevard apartments. Skating at Parc LaFontaine is a great date night idea as it is located in the heart of the gorgeous plateau neighbourhood, and close to fantastic dining and entertainment options post-skate. The rink is open for both leisure skating and hockey during select times. Admission to the rink is free, and they offer skates, lockers, and helmets for rent. The Parc LaFontaine skating rink is open now until mid-march.
Bonsecours Basin
For a more modern ice-skating experience head on over to Bonsecours Basin, located at the old port of Montreal, only minutes away from our 105 Milton Street apartments. This skating rink offers some of the most stunning views of the city. The rink plays music daily, with each day offering a new theme (for example Wednesdays are alternative rock and Fridays are retro music). Admission to the rink is five dollars, with cheaper family passes available. Skates, lockers, helmets, and sharpening services are available on-site.
